Description: Occupancy type are in Hazus occupancy categories and category definitions can be found in the Hazus flood technical manual. Occupancy types were derived through City of Minot parcel data, as well as visual verification by FEMA/NLT ImageCat assessments using aerial imagery.Number of stories were derived through City of Minot parcel data, as well as visual verification by FEMA/NLT ImageCat assessments using aerial imagery.Basement types were derived by visual verification by NLT/ImageCat assessments using aerial imagery.Foundation types were visually identified using aerial imagery by FEMA/NLT ImageCat assessments and are numerical using Hazus codes for foundation type with the following categories:4 - Basement5 - Crawlspace7 - Slab on gradeBuilding Material types were derived by visual verification by NLT/ImageCat assessments using aerial imagery.Water Depths were attached to the structure location using the USACE 24kcfs hydrological and hydraulic model for the 2011 Mouse River Flood event. Structures in areas deemed "protected" by FEMA and USGS field staff were removed from the USACE Depth grid.Potentially substantially damaged designation - this includes all structure that meet the following criteria:-Must be within the ABFE zone but outside of levee project area- If the structure is a one story building with a basement, it must have sustained >= 4 feet of flooding during the 2011 Minot flood event.- If the structure is a one story building without a basement, it must have sustained >= 5 feet of flooding during the 2011 Minot flood event.- If the structure is a two story building with a basement, it must have sustained >= 7 feet of flooding during the 2011 Minot flood event.- If the structure is a two story building without a basement, it must have sustained >= 8.5 feet of flooding during the 2011 Minot flood event.- If the structure is a mobile home, must have sustained >= 1.5 feet of flooding during the 2011 Minot flood event.
