Description:

River closures were exported from a CAD file (.dwg created by Barr Staff) to a temporary polyline shapefile by Kelly Wild (kac2). Original CAD file contained linework for levee alignment, floodwalls, excavation extents, diversion structures, and road realignments. The lines representing the river closures were queried out of the line shapefile based on the 'Layer' attribute field - the lines representing the river closures were then converted to polygons within ArcGIS (kac2).

Last Updated: February 14, 2012
